Title: How chocolate can help repair spinal damage
Content: It is about a group of scientists trying to find out how to make a paralyzed person be able to voluntarily move again with motivation and stimulants by testing it out on a rat.
3 points that I have learnt:
1. When someone has crushed or severed his/her spinal cord, it can no longer send neurosignals from the body to the brain and this will result in paralysis.
2. When a cocktail of synthetic neuro transmitters were injected into the rat's spinal cord, the healthy but disconnected neuro cells were activated again.
3. With motivation, the rat was able to reconnect its dorman neural network and move its paralyzed limbs again with the help of the neuro transmitters and a machine.

Out of the 10 places I marked on the map, the places I frequent the most are AMK(Ang Mo Kio) Hub and Bishan Park. AMK Hub has many interesting shops and eateries, but most importantly, it has a cinema. So, as it is the nearest mall to most of my friends' and my houses, we often go there to watch movies or shop around. My friends and I also often go to Bishan Park as it is the nearest park to our houses. We go there to either exercise or just sit around and talk. As Bishan Park is newly developed park, the scenery is awesome! :) I especially like how they converted the canal into a river, and planted grass on the two banks. My friends and I often sit on the bank of the river to chat and watch the fishes swim by and if we're lucky, we might get to see the egrets. :D

|I think this picture of a tigress represents me well because I can be friendly when you don't disturb or provoke me, but when you do, I can be as ferocious as the tiger (That's how I got the nickname tigress in primary school) ;)|
